Rain in July

After 23 consecutive 110 + degree F days, we began receiving rain. The rain is welcome for many people for their own reason. D and P welcomed the rain with a mud bath. After they were finished, I turned the hose on them in the front yard. Normally this gesture is met with screaming and running away. Today the kids just stood there and enjoyed the cleansing.
