To Table Mesa Rd.

Last Sunday I took the boys to Table Mesa Rd to let them dig, ride, and splash in the mud and water. Much to our dismay, the river is dry. Recall this post from June 2006 where Dylan was riding around in the water. Now look at these pictures taken 1/4 mile South and you'll see only a puddle created by an evening storm. The lack of water here is a sign of the small amount of runoff from last winter's sparse snow up north. The kids had fun anyway.

Welcome new member to our fam

Walker Dean, born 9/12. 8lbf 3oz, 20 3/4" long. For reference, Dylan is 4.5 in these pictures and Parker just turned 2.

Parker 2nd birthday party

My little boy (for 2 more days) had a birthday party for his 2nd birthday. We had 41 people at the house. I smoked 5 racks of ribs and cooked 30 brats. We had an awesome Clifford the Big Red Dog cake made by Jackie. Thanks to all who came.

Pool slide project

Amy's Dad found an unwanted pool slide on his pool route. I picked it up in the truck and installed it just in time for Parker's 2nd birthday party.
