Independence day 2008

The Munier's hosted an Independence day pool party. I smoked 10 racks of ribs and grilled 8 or 9 pounds of chicken. Some folks brought some food too and it was a good time. All of our guests brought balloons and made this my surprise birthday party (I turn 30 next week). I was surprised! The day after Independence day, the kids and I went to the landfill. When we got back, Dylan made a Lego replica of the dump. He actually added to the structure after this picture was taken but I forgot to take a picture.

England 2008

I had to travel to England for 2 weeks for work. Here is my little car. This car is a Skoda Roomster. The Roomster is equipped with 3-cylinder turbo diesel and 6-speed manual transmission. Driving on the wrong side of the road, on the wrong side of the car, while shifting with the wrong hand is a challenge. At least the pedals weren't reversed. Also there is a picture of what English people eat. Photo was taken in Brighton, about 30 or so miles from London.
