Camping near Flagstaff, Memorial Weekend 2007

To celebrate Memorial Day weekend, the fam camped near Munds park. The weather was nice as it was cool during the day and cold at night.

Thomas the Tank, 2007

Fans may recall we visited Thomas the Tank Engine last May in Williams, AZ. Click here to see those pictures.

We had a fun time last year even though both kids were sick so we decided to go again. Once again we stayed the night in Flagstaff and drove to Williams in the morning. Nothing was different from our trip last year - same pushy parents, same rotten kids, same big tent where overpriced Thomas stuff was being sold. Nonetheless we had a good time and have pictures to remember the trip. Dylan rides

Dylan (4 years, 4 months) has learned to ride his bike. In fact he just figured it out on Sunday. This morning (today is Thursday) I asked him if he wanted to ride to school. He said yes, so I got on my bike and he got on his and rode 1.7 miles to his preschool. Amy followed behind with the truck just in case it didn't work out. Little bugger made it all the way though. Here is a picture of him riding around the cul-de-sac.

I was at a training center in New Jersey working on a F900 Full flight simulator. I turned on the autopilot and hopped out of the left seat to snap a picture of Mount Rainier outside of Seattle. The motion was on so I was only out of the seat long enough to take the picture.
